Our Pétanque Piste

Our pétanque piste allows you to play the traditional French game of pétanque. This game is also known as boules and dates back to Greek and Roman times. The piste is situated in a beautiful, quiet setting while still being close to the centre of Letchworth Garden City.

The pétanque piste has been professionally built and it therefore provides a facility for both experienced players and those wishing to have a fun game with friends and family, all within a friendly and informal atmosphere. In particular we welcome families and children aged 5 and over to play on our pétanque piste.

A game of pétanque is an ideal way for families to enjoy an activity together in a great outdoors environment. It offers a fun and enjoyable way to spend a few hours while involving children in a stimulating physical game.
